Adding music to your Website or Blog

/ Category: ,

In the Techknowbabble search to help a client embed a sound file into their website or Blog, we did some major research and came up with some interesting results. First, you'll need to be sure you can use WMA, MID, MP3, WAV, and other formats of audio. These are the most popular today. Here is a software application that lets you convert any file to any format you will need. It's called WavePad and it's FREE. It is easy to use and allows you to edit, convert and save to any format. The screen shot below shows a soundbit of music and voice that was edited and saved.

Once you have created the proper format and saved it
, you can now add it to your Internet Website or Weblog. Your final edited and saved copy now has to be placed, or uploaded to a server somewhere on the Web. There are two ways to embed a sound file: EMBED TO PLAY AUTOMATICALLY and EMBED TO PLAY ONLY AFTER CLICKING THE PLAY BUTTON

This is high tech and high touch. TechknowBabble rates WavePad an 8 out of 10.

Save: BlinkList, del.icio.us, Digg, Furl, ma.gnolia, reddit, Simpy, Spurl, EarthLink MyFavorites, Google, LinkRoll, Lycos, Netscape, Newsvine, Rojo, Squidoo, Wink
