Brad, I've been struggling with how to structure the content of my Active Rain blog.

I read a great post from an AR member that suggested our posts be as specific to our geographic market as possible as that draws the most interested clients. As obtaining clients is the number one reason to be blogging in the first place (at least on AR) I thought that was a good suggestion. However, I quickly found myself blogging about mortgage and real estate related issues that were more global in nature.

I'm wondering if it is better to have multiple bloggs wherein you keep the subject matter consistent. Therefore I'd write about the Spokane, WA region on my AR blog but then create another blog on blogger.com for my real estate and lending rants.

Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks

Mike

Mike - It's a matter of preference and more than that, a matter of time. I use my AR Blog for everything, but many would disagree.

I also run a SN at RE 411, and this TKB Blog, while writing for the GeekEstateBlog. It's all about Time Management!

AR is a fantastic place for more than just blogging and networking. What you put into it, you will get back out of it. Call or email me and we can brainstorm some ideas. :-)
