Social Networking - Networks

/ Category:

In Real Estate, social networking has been around longer than the phone, and longer than computers. When you look at social networking in todays market, it's all about Websites and Blogs. The first real social networking started with AOL and was then taken to the next level with MySpace.com. If you are in any branch of the Real Estate Business today, you must be and stay connected in order to be successful.

The first one we really liked is Active Rain. There are over 57,000 Industry Professionals sharing knowledge, resources and business there. Active Rain is a great place to get connected and start your Blogging experience. It's social networking at it's best.

Next you might consider LinkedIn.com which is exactly what the name entitles. You can connect to so many other individuals and LinkedIn does all the research to tell you who you'd be best connected to.

While your searching for other social networking groups, you won't want to miss FaceBook.com. They are yet another site that focuses on networking, but takes the lighter side to the whole process. You can interact more on a "Out On The Town" sort of way.

MyBlogLog
is a great tool and place to connect with others if you're still not feeling all the love. This site helps to connect you with visitors that come by your Blog or website. Many of techknowbabble's readers come from here.

If that weren't enough to keep you buried in Blogs and social networking, then join Cre8Buzz.com. This is the newest social networking group to the scene and it's not limited to the Real Estate Industry. This is a new and upcoming site that promises to bring yet more value to the whole social networking thing.

And here's my final Network for the year, and maybe for all time! Check this one out, you won't be disappointed and you'll see why when you get there. I'm not just the founder, I'm a member!

Now that you're connected, and you're making friends, connections, meeting new people, referring business and gaining priceless knowledge, you better hope your computer doesn't up and crash! Imagine going back to the old fashioned way of "Social Networking!"

Are You Connected

/ Category: , ,

Use this FREE application to explore the connections between related websites. Touchgraph.com is a fantastic tool to see how connected you really are to the Cyber-World around you. The TouchGraph Browser shows your entire network of connectivity between websites, as reported by Google's, Facebook's and Amazon's database of related sites.

We tried running TechKnowBabble to see how connected we were and the results were quite surprising. To get started with TouchGraph is really very simple. You need to do the following:

Go to the TouchGraph website, select: Google, FaceBook, or Amazon, then run any URL you choose from the internet. Run your Website, your Blog, or any URL you want to find out about! It's a fantastic little tool for also running names, businesses, and even your competition. :-)

Touchgraph has many useful sources of data and information. You will find yourself lost in it's power for hours and still feel like there is more to see and learn. TechKnowBabble rates TouchGraph a 9 out of 10.
